Linda Yueh is Fellow in Economics, St Edmund Hall, Oxford University and Adjunct Professor of Economics, London Business School. She is also Visiting Professor at LSE IDEAS where she is Chair of the LSE Economic Diplomacy Commission. She was Visiting Professor of Economics at Peking University.
Professor Yueh is the Chair of The Royal Commonwealth Society and a Trustee of the Coutts Foundation and Malaria No More UK. She is also a Director of several companies listed on the London Stock Exchange. She is the former Chair of the Global Cities Business Alliance and Board member of London & Partners, the official promotion agency of London.
Dr Yueh is a widely published author and Editor of the Routledge Series on Economic Growth and Development. Her books include: China’s Growth: The Making of an Economic Superpower and Enterprising China: Business, Economic and Legal Development Since 1979. Her latest book is The Great Economists: How Their Ideas Can Help Us Today, which was selected as The Times’s Best Business Books of 2018 and as Newsweek’s Best Fiction and Non-Fiction of 2018.
